Truckee Golf Early Spring

Here are a few great picts of golf in Truckee...or at least a few good reasons why it may be some time until we can golf in the Tahoe region.

Coyote Moon is on Northwoods Blvd, at about 6000 foot elevation. Donner Pass, just 15 minutes away, has received almost 800 inches of total snow over the Winter of 2010-2011.

When the snow does melt I am sure our Tahoe golf clubs will appreciate our business. Check back in with Destination Golf for some snow melt deals.

Golfing at North Pole, Alaska

As I shared with you in my last article, one of the coolest aspects of being part of the "Two Rivers Family"
is staying connected with our friends, old and new.

Because I was given the opportunity to visit my sister Shelly Bryant in Wasilla, Ak. the first thing that
came to mind was getting in touch with our old friend and former client, Kevin McHenry. I e-mailed Kevin and
we started talking about the possibility of me coming up to visit him in North Pole and possibly play a round
of golf at his home course, Chena Bend at Fort Wainwright. Kevin has worked there as a starter and had nothing
but high praise for the course. But I have to admit the biggest draw for me was that I'd be playing at the
northernmost Military golf course in the U.S.A.!!

One of the coolest things about being a part of Two Rivers Golf has been the opportunity to meet some incredible people and touch their lives by creating clubs that truly make a positive change in their golf games. Kevin McHenry is one of those people, and this June I'm going to be traveling to Alaska to play a round of golf with Kevin at Chena Bend G.C. which is just outside of North Pole, AK.  I've been in touch with Kevin and am happy to report he still is playing exclusively Two Rivers equipment and still having great sucess with them.
