North Pole Golf!
Golfing at North Pole, Alaska

As I shared with you in my last article, one of the coolest aspects of being part of the "Two Rivers Family"
is staying connected with our friends, old and new.
Because I was given the opportunity to visit my sister Shelly Bryant in Wasilla, Ak. the first thing that
came to mind was getting in touch with our old friend and former client, Kevin McHenry. I e-mailed Kevin and
we started talking about the possibility of me coming up to visit him in North Pole and possibly play a round
of golf at his home course, Chena Bend at Fort Wainwright. Kevin has worked there as a starter and had nothing
but high praise for the course. But I have to admit the biggest draw for me was that I'd be playing at the
northernmost Military golf course in the U.S.A.!!
Welcome to Two Rivers Golf
Do you really think a mass advertised and mass manufactured set of golf clubs can compare to a precisely built hand made set of clubs?
Calvin's "forged iron experience" June update
Recently, Scott had finished building a set of 555c irons for me. Because the 555c irons have a players look to me, I had not considered them at the outset. They are forged, designed with low offset and some perimeter weighting, and have an attractive satin finish. The irons were combined with SK fiber shafts. I usually score in the 90s and had the initial notion that a set of new, game improvement clubs would be the best for me.
Staying in touch
One of the coolest things about being a part of Two Rivers Golf has been the opportunity to meet some incredible people and touch their lives by creating clubs that truly make a positive change in their golf games. Kevin McHenry is one of those people, and this June I'm going to be traveling to Alaska to play a round of golf with Kevin at Chena Bend G.C. which is just outside of North Pole, AK. I've been in touch with Kevin and am happy to report he still is playing exclusively Two Rivers equipment and still having great sucess with them.

One year after we opened Two Rivers Golf "brick and mortar" we started to receive calls from clients all over the United States and soon after even Internationally. By no means did we have some secret marketing technique, what our happened is really quite cool. Tom Wishon of Tom Wishon Golf Technology started referring clients to our shop because he recieved more emails from our clients than from any other golf shop.
