Total Set Perfection: Normally our process starts with a game evaluation. This is a list of questions we ask you about your game, how you play, your scores, strengths and weaknesses… The purpose of this step is to get you thinking about your game, it allows us to understand you better and it makes it possible for us to make recommendations for your clubs based on your actual game. This summer is a little different -read the bottom of this page for more info.
The next thing we do is go over the recommendations—this includes what clubs would fit in your bag best, set make-up (do you want a 3-iron, or a hybrid?)—the number of wedges and the lofts you want…
Once we agree to a course of action, then we begin with the fitting.
Fittings take 1 to 3 sessions for each club type. The first session gets a prototype that you are consistently hitting in the center of the club-face. Follow-up sessions can be done (if you desire) after the club has been played on the course during a round or more. Some people expect more from their clubs and will want more adjustments to get things perfect. For example, if Phil Mickelson came in to be fitted for a driver we would probably do a lot of fittings and adjustments before we reached the level of performance he would want.
Once the prototype is made our work begins-- This includes a number of very precise steps and you can go over this with your fitter to the extent needed to satisfy your inner geek.
After our work is done, that is the full set of clubs is made, then your job begins. We expect you to hit more consistent shots, have more fun, and shoot lower scores.
WARNING—we really do expect you to be playing better golf using our ‘magic stix’, and we can be demanding. Bottom Note: This summer we are reorganizing the company to focus on..On course fitting both in individual and one club at a time Course Specials... More on this later. I highly recomend calling and finding out more info. 916.599.GOLF -SCOTT |
